Terms and Conditions for Judo Log

Welcome to Judo Log by Judo Gear These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use ofJudo Gear’s Mobile Application, available at in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store

By accessing this app, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Judo Log if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. The App

Judo Log is a mobile application designed to track users’ training, Judo tournaments, and individual contest results. It provides users with the ability to log training sessions, track tournament participation, and monitor performance outcomes.

2. Subscription Model

a. Subscription Fee: The app offers a subscription model at a cost of £5.99 per month. This subscription grants you access to use the application beyond the initial 14 day trial period.

b. Billing and Renewal: The subscription fee will be charged to your provided payment method on a monthly basis. Your subscription will automatically renew each month, on the date of your initial subscription, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

c. Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through the app store from which you have downloaded the app. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to the subscription features until the end of the current billing cycle.

d. Changes to Subscription Fees: Judo Gear reserves the right to change the subscription fee. Any change in subscription fee will be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance, and your continued use of the service after the change goes into effect constitutes your agreement to pay the modified subscription fee amount.

3. Copyright Notice

Subject to the express provisions of these terms and conditions:

We own and control all the copyright and other intellectual property rights in the app and the material on the app; and
All the copyright and other intellectual property rights in the app and the material on the app are reserved.

4. License to Use the App

You may view, download for caching purposes only, and print pages from the app for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions set out below and elsewhere in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

Republish material from this app outside of the standard usage of the app;
Sell, rent, or sub-license material from the app;
Redistribute material from this app, except for content specifically and expressly made available for redistribution.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not use our app in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the app or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the app; or in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose or activity.

6. User Content

In these terms and conditions, “your user content” means material (including, without limitation, text, images, audio material, video material, and audio-visual material) that you submit to our app, for whatever purpose.

You grant to Judo Gear a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish and translate your user content in an anonymised format in any existing or future media.

7. No Warranties

This app and its services are provided on an “as is” basis without any representations or warranties, express or implied. Judo Gear makes no representations or warranties in relation to this app or the information and materials provided on this app.

8. Limitation of Liability

Judo Gear, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the app.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Judo Gear harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), made against them by any third party due to or arising out of, or in connection with, your use of the app or any of the services offered on the app.

10. Severability

If any provision of these terms and conditions is determined to be unlawful and/or unenforceable, the other provisions will continue in effect.

11. Variation of Terms

Judo Gear is permitted to revise these terms and conditions at any time as it sees fit, and by using this app you are expected to review these terms and conditions on a regular basis.

12. Assignment

Judo Gear is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions.

13. Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions, including any legal notices and disclaimers contained on this app, constitute the entire agreement between Judo Gear and you in relation to your use of this app, and supersede all previous agreements and understandings.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the United Kingdom for the resolution of any disputes.
